Biodegradable Bags – New Development

Biodegradable film is manufactured from cornstarch, an annually renewable resource that is both fully biodegradable and compostable. Under industrial conditions (58°C) the bags will break down into carbon dioxide and water within 45 days. The film itself exhibits the same levels of high clarity, good shine and good rigidity as polypropylene.

Hot Foil Blocking – New Development

We can offer a hot foiling service should you require your bags to be identified with a logo or a small message e.g. ‘blank inside’. The hot foiling process is conducted in line as the bags are manufactured, ensuring they are made quickly and cost effectively

Polypropylene Bags

We hold stocks of numerous widths of high-grade polypropylene film ready for conversion to bags.
Once the film is folded it is accurately cut to specified sizes on high-speed machines.
All of our bags are made to order. This ensures that your product is finished to the highest standard.

The usual gauge of film used for the majority of bags is 30 Micron. This is available in 2 types.

Opp and Opp/c

Both these films have unique properties enabling the packed product to be handled well and displayed to a high standard.

Opp film has a very good slip factor, whilst keeping a clear and attractive finish.

Opp/c film has an excellent high-clarity finish that enhances the colours and design of the packed product.

Self-seal Bags

Our bags can be produced with or without a lip. If a lip is required we can offer the addition of self-seal tape. This enables you to seal the bag right across the width. The tape is re-sealable.

Sticky Dots

Another way of sealing your bag is with sticky dots.
These clear dots are 19mm in diameter and supplied on reels of 1000.
Fully biodegradable sticky dots are also available.
